Ive read that the 328i prop will fit an M30 E30.. Does it have to be a manual one? Ive found a few auto prop's near me but they seem to be shorter on realoem.com.. Are they adjustable for length at all? The part numbers for an entire propshaft+guibo etc are the same bar the last 3 digits on realoem...

Cheers

AFAIK the 328i prop can be used but the centre bearing has to be reversed to line up with the holes in the shell

And im sure its a manual one thats used

This turned out to be a pain the arse to fit too haha. I had to make the prop as short as it would possibly go, and then use the OEM jack to jack the engine forward on the mounts to allow enough room for it to fit over the gearbox output shaft thingy. Then popped it into place.. Nice.
