hi there, im kinda new to the zone but have had a few e30s in my time.. which now brings me me my new one..
i bought a half started m30 project of which i begun to "try@ an finsh with alot of help from leeparkes (thanking you again lol)
but after gettin very near gettin on the road i found out it the bottom end is crack so therefore fooked!!!
so now its back to the drawin board of rippin the engine back out and sortin this problem out..
now im thing of getting abit more involved with this project and thinkin how hard would this now be to turbo but more to the point where would i source parts eg spacer plate, manifold etc
ive seen some kits on the bay but have been told to stay well clear of these kits coz half of it ends up in the bin.
anyone done this convertion an wat kinda cost am i looking at in parts??
thinking of going turbo...

none.. need info before i start gettin bits together plus have no idea where to start or to get them from.
First you need to know what you need.
You could go for a top mount M30 TCD turbo manifold and T4 turbo from the states.
Then intercooler pipes of ebay. Intercooler of ebay.
Injectors from a range of places, you´ll need some form of fuel and ignition control
Before suggesting more parts. What are your power goals realistically?

i was thinking more along the lines or t3/t4 or is this not good enough???
the intercooler piping i can get made from someone local and a mate has an intercooler that i can have...
was lookin along the lines of 300+ bhp realistically.
wat cc intectors will i need?? like 330's?? is there a site i can look on to get things like the manifold and spacer plate??

For anything below 400hp you can run a standard engine + ARP head studs.
The M30 is a gigantic engine, ever seen a 3.5 run a T3 frame turbo?
You´ll want T4 to minimize backpressure.
I´d start any 6cyl engine on 440cc injectors or bigger.
