head bolt torque settings please.

I need all three stages of settings please.

from memory it goes 50nm. 80nm. 100nm. with a 15 minute gap between each set. Can someone confirm as I'm doing mine tomorrow

Here Marc, 3/4 page down.



Then torque the bolts down in 3 stages. I used the s38 torque specs:

1st Stage ; 50 Nm = 37 lb-ft

2nd Stage: 80 Nm = 59 lb-ft

wait / settling time of at least 15 minutes

3rd Stage: 100Nm = 74 lb-ft.

I have a tech data book bit its on the missing atm and I'm sure it had the settings in degrees and nm mixed.

Found the correct spec to tighten.

60nm 20 mins wait

80nm run up to temp. Then 35 degrees. And done.
