hi,
could anyone tell me if a manual gearbox, flywheel, clutch assembly from the smaller engined E28 525I M30 would fit my m30 3.5 conversion and would it be strong enough for track use? my 3.5 was removed from a 1990 e32.
any help would be great.
thanks
simainman.

My flywheel is from an E28 525i with a 3.5 clutch, i guess the gearbox will be fine.

Id double check by posting on here though just to be sure.

no i don't mate, just been looking on ebay for a box etc and can only find a couple 2.5 m30 box's and fly's
i wanted a dogleg box and fly from the m535i really as it would be great on track but they seem few and far between now and when they do come up are pretty costly.
any alternatives i could use lee ie e34 sport etc? any box's kicking around that you know of?
