I have not really driven the car since completing the conversion,

I took it for a decent run around town earlier and got 26 miles to a 1/4 tank roughly, I was pushing the car at times.

Is this right?

If not what can be causing the high consumption? The only thing i know that needs doing is the valves need to be adjusted, can this be the culprit?

Does it drive ok, no missfiring or anything like that? Haven't drove mine yet but would have thought you'd get a bit more than 26 miles for 1/4 tank? :?

At one point i was getting around 15mpg, AFM was the culprit for me.
I was getting low 20's round town and i do hang about either :)

If its idleing lumpy something not right, set the valves at 0.30mm (0.012) with the engine stone cold. Once you set them, before you put the rocker cover back on check them again, spin the engine over a few times then double check again. Trust me its not nice trying to get a rocker cover on and off on an M30, especially if your in position 3. Do them once, do them right :)

Is the blue temp sensor ok?

How do I check the AFM?
I will get the valves adjusted by a garage I can never get the bugggers correct.
I will change the blue temp sensor as its cheap

What mpg are you getting now?

For me the AFM was a last resort and everything else was fine, no idea how you test them.

Roughly 60 miles to 15 litre /£20, totally around town so 19mpg, which i can live with, not tested it properly on a run yet though,

Im getting the valves adjusted at a garage next week, and will take it on a decent run then.

So hopefully all good after that,
