Got a red 320 LHD e30 which I bought from a garage for £150 when I saw it sat forlornly in the corner. It was actually in good nick apart from the engine which had seized.

Anyway, I got an e30 specialist I know in Bristol to do the conversion to a 3.5 from an e34 Sport. However, he had some health issues and unfortunately has been unable to wrap things up. Engine is in the car and running and the car is driveable. Its a manual gearbox. The conversion he did was the preferable one where you have to make adjustments to the bulk head which means no cutting to the front of the engine bay. I think he got engine mounts from Germany.

I am not sure what diff he put in, but it isnt a limited slip diff so I think that will need changing. I would also like to get the battery into the boot if possible, and have someone check if I need to change my exhaust. A number of things need 'finishing' or at least checking by someone 'in the know' although the engine is in place. Wiring under the dash could do with a check over too and perhaps a bit of a tidy up.

I can service a car and do basics but this is beyond my knowledge. Is there anyone experienced in or around Bristol who could come and finish this off for me?

If so, get in touch! Many thanks! 8)

I'm in Bristol and have a m30'ed e30 but I'm not sure how much use I'll be as I baught the car done. I have changed the diff on mine as it was not a limited slip and will have a go at most jobs. Maybe we could help each other ?

Hi, im wanting to do the same but would also need someone to do the work for me.
I was wondering if you could give me any suggestions/ideas of cost. How'd the car go in the end?
Thanks.

I'm sure there will be a zoner nearby who would carry out the work for you, be worth asking around.

To get a rough idea of cost and/or how easy it will be, what model e30 will it be going in?
