Has anyone fitted an M30b35 into a pre-facelift shell? Are there are differences from fitting it into a facelift shell? Different wiring perhaps?
Mine's a pre-facelift cabby btw.
TIA

Does yours have prefacelift rear lights and facelift front??
What year is it?
If its as above, wiring is the same as mine, 3 wires to change over.

Nothing in my engine bay at all.
I've got a choice of fitting a facelift wiring loom or a pre-facelift wiring loom in the cabby. I'd rather fit the pre-facelift wiring loom as it has the 'check panel' wiring but want to make sure it will still work with the M30.
Hope that makes sense.

Imy - can you not get a loom from a facelift 6 pot - sounds as though it will tick all the boxes then. 3 - wires as Rav says.

I've been looking for a 6 pot loom for a while now but nothing available and i really need to get the cabby back on the road ASAP so will go with the pre-facelift loom. Surely it can't be that different can it?
Noted that thread, cheers

Erm other way round I tthink, expansion bottle on the driverside wing is an early car, on the passeger side is a late car.jbh wrote:where does the expansion bottle sit for the rad ? if it sits on the drivers wing its a newer one. if it sits on the passengers wing its a early one.
