Hey Lads,

I'm rebuilding my m30, I've had the engine shop clean and acid dip the block, clean the head, install new valve stem seals, hone the bores, install new piston rings and install new main bearings.

Now I'm in the process of putting it all back together. I've installed the cleaned oil pump, new oil chain and new chain tensioner, I've cleaned the rear main oil seal cover and installed a new rear main seal. Just a quick question, does anyone know what the torque settings are for the cover? There are six bolts, 2 larger and 4 smaller.

If anyone has any pointers from past m30 rebuilds it would also be greatly appreciated :D

Cheers

I was able to find them, for reference:

crankshaft rear oil seal carrier
M6 bolts 9±1 Nm (80±9 in-Ib)
M8 bolts 22±2 Nm (16±1 ft-Ib)
