I have a 1991 318is and I have pulled the motor. I have a M20B27 motor and transmission sitting in front of the car wired up and ready. Im wondering:
1. If the M20 motor mounts work or if I'll need the mounts off of the M42 I have.
2.If the transmission mounts will work as well.
3. If the radiator from the M42 will work for the cooling system, its brand new. like 2 years old brand new.
Any info or part suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

What M20B27 is it? because if it is an eta engine you will have lost about 5bhp on the swap.

You will need M20 engine mounts and radiator should be ok depending on the power of the M20 and how hot it gets where you live
