mixed arm rockers

hi guys i have a 320i with a 2.7 ETA head. it broke some rockers replaced valves and 4 rockers with 325i rockers now my engine is not idling even (miss firing) could it be rockers that are not the same?

320 and 325 rockers are the same.
Check cambelt timing and inlet side air leaks.
Does your engine have the distributor on the front end of the camshaft, or is it an early one?

brian its on the front end of the camshaft. checked timing is okay no sign of air leaks. my spark plugs are black i wonder whats up

If plugs are sooty lack, the engine is running too rich.
Does the engine start OK from cold, then begin to run progressively more roughly as it warms up?

Is this a new problem, or one that's been there since the rebuild?
