After cut and welded my propshaft at machineshop there is a problem with the balance, 4 gear at 40-50 mil hour there is a sound and mild shake. 60 mil and goes up there is no problem.

Uninstall propshaft and send to another machine shop that have balancing tools also install new cross join. Install again and try but now the problem appears in new form, the pulse of shake is more intense but not shake the body.

Machine shop tell me that is has good balance and I should check my plastic bushing between join also to replace my rubber bush in the join between outputshaft with propshaft.

Is it true? Or propshaft is really difficult to balance and.I should buy original 325i propshaft?

Thank you
Markus

First thing to check is it the joint is central in the shaft, the BMW joints need VERY careful installation as there is no machined lip to locate the bearing caps of the joints, they would float if it was not for the staking on the joint.
So when you remove the staking to fit a new joint you loose its centering.

Yes, I think it is worst after I replaced the center join, I trust the machine shop that replaced it because they have use good machine.

But how to correct it manually? Can I do it at home?

Thank you
