M20 325, What's missing?

Hi all
In the process of building up an engine in a 1990 E30 (although this is a replacement lump) however I appear to be missing a part.

Photo below and hopefully you can make out is on the inlet side of the engine next to the dipstick, it almost looks like a dizzy drive however the rotor arm and cap are on the end of the cam shaft.

What's missing? and ideally has anyone got one!

There should be a metal pipe coming ng from inlet manifold. With a spring at the bottom

Its not that, that's already fitted. The is nearer the alternator.

Yes, that would have been a dizzy drive for the older (pre-1988) L-Jetronic M20 engine. There should be a blanking plate that bolts on, using a bolt that goes into that threaded hole in the block.
