One of the pipes between the manifold and the central box has a hole so,specially at idle, the noise isn't so good.
At this point i decided to go for a radical solution : new exhaust manifold.
I don't want to spend crazy amounts of money. I've seen the prices of famous brands like Supersprint and are crazy, the most incredible are the Hartge or similar you can find used at totally crazy prizes like 8-900 euros....for a piece of rust.
I've found some nice looking cheap manifold on ebay, the brands are TA Technix and Burst Flow. With 150 euros i could have the manifold shipped home, not bad. Probably they aren't the best on the market but i think are surely better than the crappy original manifold.
I've got some doubts about the fitting.....do they go straightforward or are a bit Tricky?
Do anybody of you here have some experience about?
Thanks in advance!

The problem with cheap manifolds can be the manifold does not fit on to the fixing threads correctly on the cylinder head and can be out of line, and also the nuts nip to the shoddy welds before mating up correctly to the port flanges

Think again! The cheap manifolds usually offer no gains over the standard cast manifold and in some cases are actually worse. And then there's the fitting issues described above...DarioStraightSix wrote: but i think are surely better than the crappy original manifold.

Thanks for the answers!!!
So,you would say they don't worth the money? Is it so difficult to make them fit? I've got a mechanical shop,i work with cnc milling machine and lathe.
I've also seen some Others from the UK
http://www.ebay.it/itm/BMW-E30-3-SERIES ... 51a3bcc85f
are a bit better? Eventually,i hope they fit lhd cars.
Some E30 mates in Italy have Fritz's Bits (made in UK) manifolds on their cars and are happy with. But the prize grows.....
Every advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
