Hoses are a bit tricky now. A lot of places have stopped supplying aftermarket hoses and BMW ones are eye watering. I priced it up at something like £400 to replace the rubber hoses!
If your talking about the winner racing ones on ebay, they are ok. The quality of the silicon is good and the hoses are thick enough, the fit is not very good and some trimming will be required.
The top hose is too long as it seems to be for the larger radiators.
If your fittings are grotty and corroded they will leak, this is more because of grotty fittings than the hoses though, its a bit of a bodge but in this circumstance a wipe of something like locktite grey silicon around the fitting will help it seal and they will be happy like that for years.
To be fair the same goes for new rubber onto grotty fittings but playing with 25+ year old cars you cannot expect things to be like new.
