hi guys, have just got what is apparently a 2.7 m20 lump for my e30, looking to identify various parts as i do not have much info about it.
The cylinder head is part no 1705885, stamped 2.5 2.7, how is this different to one stamped 2.5?
The crankshaft is stamped 1280989, is this a 324d one as I was told?
Can anyone recommend a decent exhaust manifold?

it should have the throw of the crank stamped on it somewhere eg h81 for a 81mm throw 2.7 crank. look for ggg as well if you have both the mentioned bits its an eta crank.
