Currently have a set of m52b28 injectors stripped off the car, and ready for ultrasonic cleaning..

I'd be looking to fit them to my m20b20, but dont know if they'll flow far too much for the engine?

I know that the b20 runs at 2,5bar, so they'll have less pressure, but I dont know if the ECU would be able to control the m52 injectors well enough to get the fuelling spot on?

Main reason for looking to change is to get 4 hole injectors- but obviously no point if they'd overfuel all the time.

anyone done such a conversion?

worst case I can get a set of m50b20 ones-I;m just wondering if I can use what I already have

thanks

I expect they will overfuel like mad, the M50B20 injectors are usually used on M20B25, so even they might flow too much, might be better if you ran those with a B25 ECU and a lambda sensor, but it would all come down to how well the Moronic ecu can adjust the mixture really

cool, cheers for the gen- I had figured that the flow rate may be a bit high, ach well!

according to the data I can find- the m50b20 flowrates are not too much higher % wise than the m20b20, esp when the m50 ones are ran at the lower 2.5 bar

if I can find a set(m50b20) cheap enough it may be worth a pop
