any dis-advantage or potential benefits of fitting a 3.0 bar FPR to a b20, rather than the stock 2.5bar one?

I'm bored and fancied a tinker :D

it will increase how much fuel is injected, say you had a 100cc/min injector at 2.5 bar if you run it at 3 bar it will be a 109.5cc/min injector

it will not add performance so dont bother tinkering.

tinker with replacing old stuff that needs to be replaced
E30 325is with M20B31

If you have injectors that are down on their flow rate and are badly in need of a refurb., then it might well get you some more power, the same as the infamous 'ebay resistor' that goes in series with the coolant temperature sensor, but it's a far better idea to have the injectors rebuilt.
