m20 head rebult

had my engine rebuilt done 1000 miles. the mechanic who fiited the engine pointed out that the head was nosy. now discovered that theres very little oil getting to head i think thats what he said. can anybody please help with poss cause is this a easy fix? or big problem. the engine has been stroke to 3.0 using upgraded parts using forged pistion ect.

When you say it was rebuilt........

If there is little oil getting to the top end the most likely cause is the oil spray bar. To me these are service items if they are blocked just throw them away particularly if its black inside the rocker cover a sure sign of some missed oil changes. Maybe soaking them in diesel for 3 days will clean them but is it worth the risk?

If the top end is now rattling the damage is probably done :( so probably cam lobes and rockers, but you will have to check.
