Hello

Just got my first e30.

Brought the car and the owner explained that he's put a slightly thicker head gasket on recently so due to this I am missing a few horses :(

I'm thinking of turbo charging now because of this as the compressions already been lowered.

I have an mr2 turbo sitting in my garage which is perfect.

Is standard ignition and injectors alright for a low boost set up?

Standard injectors are not really good for unless you raise the fuel pressure.
Standard ignition will be fine.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Look at Ross' build.its amazing and his attention to detail is second to none. He knows what he's talking about.

You are best off starting with the best engine you have to offer which would be a 2.5 m20 then turbo that.the same parts on the 2.0 wouldn't be as good as the 2.5

330?as in the m54b30 from an e46?

M50 turbo would be much easier and cheaper than the M54
