im wanting to add exhaust gas temp thermocouple to my ecu mainly for logging reasons and was curious if the cast manifold would be thick enough to drill and tap in to, on one of the runners near the head? anyone had any experience with this its the later style m20 rhd manifold

Upon looking at it I noticed 2 bolts removed one and noticed that it is drilled all the way through the casing is fairy thick there to so will drill the hole bigger get out the npt tap and I recon that should work.
