I know that m50 2.5 rods can be used in an m20 but do the m20 pistons fit straight onto them?
Can an m50 crankshaft be used too? Would there be any advantage?

Pistons go straight on yes, only benefit is weigh reduction, no advantage to using M50 crank

And if weight reduction is the game then M52B28 rods is what you want, same size and strength and about 100g lighter each.

Yes, I'm looking for lighter rods for a 2.5 build. Haven't found any yet.

Well I found a set of rods. They do look rather thin! They should be m52 2.8 items. Anyone got a link to some pictures of m20, m50, m52 rods? I just want to make sure I have the right ones.
