e30 2.5 fuel line issue

hey im jus wondering when im cracking the engine... the petrol is coming out from the hose which connects to the fuel filter to the pipe leading up onto the inlet manifold? is that the correct way around or should the pipe which is pumping fuel be going directly to the injectors ?

sorry the one that is feeding goes to the fuel pressure regulator... is that incorrect and i have them the wrong way around ?

no thats wrong the one that feeds goes to the fuel rail the return on the pressure regulator
