So utter failure in trying to secure a 731 head from UK(on this forum) to Canada - friendly and helpful gentleman (sorry btw......)
so the only connection n america has had with the newer 731 head is in the e21 323 - so if these are exactly the same then I can actually order one from here brand new at metric mechanic - so now onto a few questions if you dont mind....
from what I understand, there is not much to be had also the max power is still under the b25 stock ........ this including putting in bigger b25 valves, reworking the head a bit etc and then the tb followed my intake/exhaust and ecu tune. The one issue I am foreseeing is the gasket ........are both the e30 320 and e21 323 exactly the same??? it would not be too costly if I had to get it from the uk but am curious.....thank you very much for any information shared
without touching the bottom winkeye , what else is available up top??

Did more talking with the local bmw shops and many suggestions but more conflicting information - simple question please ...
which other models share the 731 head - does the e21 323 just bolt right up? which gasket? is the early e head feasible ....... thanks again and yes I am perverted a little.

Look up your car on realoem.com and get a BMW part number for the head, then put the part number back in as a search and it should give you a list of the cars/models it was fitted to.
For sale - E30 320i racer project - sold.

I thank you very much and appreciate the effort - now I feel a lot more comfortable using realoem - answers everything
so the only thing left now would be to initiate removal and set up my old photobucket account to follow /track progress.......hopefully can be salvaged and massaged by my local shop........

I have a spare 731 head I could sell you if needed.

Otherwise, good luck with the b20 work!
