Hey i just did the intake manifold gasket on my m20b23 e30 and someone had used the wrong gasket so it was blocking the ports anyway

I pushed the crack case breather pipe all the way down and now cant pull it back up again its about 3/4ths a inch away from the manifold, ive tried using poly grips to pull it up and doesn't even move how hard should it be to pull up? is there any tricks to this?

i cant run it without it connected cause it just splits all my oil out, if i cant get it to release i was thinking about just welding a bit of a lip to the manifold and using some heater hose to connect it or is this a bad idea and why?

It's a very bad idea! It won't work, and heater hose will rapidly swell and disintegrate.
Take the manifold off again, and work out why the pipe is stuck. It's just a pipe pushed through an O ring, and should pull out easily.
