hi everyone i am currently building a e30 m20 325 turbo lump! and just wondered if anyone had any advise on what setup people run on the throttle body side of things?
ie
the idle control valve, brake servo hoses ect?
just wondered what you can get rid of and what you have to keep ect
also the same on the throttle body its self? coolent hoses ect!
as i have seen some setups with nothing at all just a boost pipe onto the throttle body!
and other setups with stuff every where!
any advise would be appreshated cheers!
also
what turbos are people running for around 350hp ? good responce ring track driving! was thinking of a holset, but was intrested what people use!

Hi mate, Ive made a custom inlet manifold, removed the icv( needing welding/plugging of the throttle body ports) fitted an audi turbo nrv to the brake line, turned the throttle linkage arm to work in reverse. coolant hoses soon to be replaced with the samco kit (in black) see my pics under the budget tech 1 turbo post in m20 engines. Im running a t3/4 hybrid which blows from about 2krpm and peaks at 26-27psi by 4.4krpm very responsive. ive also got a massive hx50 from a cummins diesel which i may try to run on an m30 set-up one day as it needs more cc's to spool it better.
