Have to fit a M20 325i from a 91 sport car into a 91 318is car in next few weeks, have both cars sitting here sport is complete and driving, the 318 has got al the runing gear already removed,am looking to find out is there any other wiring i have to change apart from the engine loom itself? as told there mite be wires need swaped over on car side of c101 plug? can anyone help me out here? and do i have to use the 325 clocks aswell? thanks in advance
just the coding plug from front of the dials mate,
think it just plug an play but beware of the brown wire on pin 20 read brians page on this in engine swap main page, basically if it red/yellow car side you'll be fine if it brown cut it off the plug and tape it up!
my loom mess page has some info about the plugs and wire functions/colours etc

If the car loom DOES have a red/yellow on pin 20 and the new engine loom DOESN'T, then you will have to add a wire from 87 or 87b on the DME relay to pin 20 of the engine loom.

Have another question for you guys, will the 318is fuel pump work ok with the M20 325 lump or will it needed changed aswell? have all the m20 bits from a full runing car anyway but if it works on the 318 pump it would be a bonus?

Pump will be fine.
325 pump assembly wont work with the iS fuel tank anyway. (No return pipe.)
