hey again, i was thinking of building a straight through exhaust system from downpipe right through to the backbox, and only keeping the backbox in place. a friend of mine did this on his nissan syl with nice results. im running a 2.7 m20 all standard. hs any1 tried this? if so what results can i expect?

I have a stright through exhaust system setup. The first thing you notice is how loud it is, depending on your backbox, it can be very noisy.
On 2.7, im not sure if it will work well, some say you need some back pressure, which is created with you middle box in place, some say you dont need it.
i actually felt like it lost power at first, but i fitted an X pipe just after the down pipes after a few days, and it seems to make it drive better!

Only real men get it done with an M20

The x pipe would allow the flow in each pipe to equalise, is that right?
