more capacity,more power?

hi all just wondered if any of you could tell me which of if any of the larger capacity engines 3.5-4.0 would fit direct into an e30, or reasonably straight forward at least, any input would be great, my 325i tourer is broken and i would like to replace rather than fix her lump with something a little more thirsty'n powerful, thank you.

Have a look in the engine swap section of the forum..... Lots of people are doing all sorts of things and they detail how they do it very well.

m30 3.5 is prob the most straight foward.
