Hi
as mentioned above my rear fogs are not working.
if the front fogs work, can i eliminate broken switch.
Any input is much appreciated

Not quite sure what foglights have to do with M20 engines, but the answer to your question is 'no'. The switch remains the prime suspect.
To make sure, pull the switch out, unplug it, link together the yellow/black and grey/purple wires with a short piece of wire, and turn the ignition on.
I assume you've checked fuse 15?

after owning m40 convertible for 5 years I'm so happy to have m20 convertible that I want to shout about it
next time I'll try to post a question in the correct place.
I have checked the fuse and the light bulbs themselves.
I'll have a look at it on Monday.
