Hi all,
My standard M20B25 seems to have gone bang in the head somewhere, so I'm swapping it out for a M20B28 (built using a spare engine/different head).
I'll be using the 130mm rods, crank from an M52(?)B28, and M20B25 low comp. pistons. (Expect questions later on about cams!)
My understanding is what the block will need a .5mm skim and the crank possibly reground, but at least accurately checked by someone who knows what they're doing! I'd also like to get the flywheel lightened while it's out of the car.
Does anyone have any recommendations on who to go to for this in the Aylesbury/Oxford area?
Cheers!
Joe

I've also found a local firm just down the road from work, who I'll give a try. My dad had his motorbike engine done there (woulda been nice if he'd said when I first asked!) and a friend had some head/block work done on his Polo G40 engine recently. Sounded like a reasonable price too, I think.
