regarding m20 engine from '87sport.. i need an ecu & wiring loom, will these have to be from another tech1sport? or will any other 325 items work?

If you just want to plug it in and go then you will need the motronic 1.0/1.1 ecu which will have to come from a tech 1 or any other pre facelift 325.

However if you need both the loom and ecu then now may be the perfect time to upgrade to the much more sophisticated later motronic 1.3 from a face lift car, there are plenty of threads on the forum about how to do this and i think there is even a section on it in the wiki.
