Hi.
I need to run my 2.0 up without using oil cooler. Can I just blank off the 2 fittings that would go to the original cooler or will I have to link the two together?

The car is standard, standard take off plate.

Many thanks.

a m20 2 litre does not have an oil cooler as standard - yours should have a filter that screws straight onto the block

if yours has an oil cooler from a 325i the thread are m22 x 1.5 - capping is not a good idea though

just get the parts of a standard 320i, its just a different filter and centre bolt

As above, you pretty much just remove the alu housing and then change the bolt/fitting the filter screws onto.
