Hi guys, I'm wanting to know what you are supposed to do to make a high comp engine run in G Reg car. Should it just be plug in and play aslong as I use the right ecu for the engine?
Thanks in advance Chris

The most important thing is to read my wiring warning which is stickied at the top of the general engine swaps section of this forum!
The engine would be plug and play if you use it's own wiring loom (assuming it's not a very early one with the smaller plug to the car loom), although a couple of instrumentation wires might need re routing.
To get the best from the high comp. engine, you need to fit the engine loom from the existing facelift M20 engine, along with the bits bolted on to the outside of the engine that differ between the two.
It's all well documented on here if you use the "search" function.
