Our very own Barnes Wallis has just won yet another CAMRA award.
This time its the York Camra country pub of the season, winter 2007/8.
The presentation evening is on Thursday, 7th February 2008.
Please come if you can, non members are very welcome.
VoYaH (Vales of York and Humber) is a branch of the North East Region of the BMW Car Club of Great Britain, created for those within reach of the M62 between Leeds and Hull.
Monthly meetings are held on the last Tuesday and everyone is welcome. 7:30pm onwards.
The pub we use is a real ale gem and the food is all home cooked.

..that was a good night, I didn't expect a beer festival.. The CAMRA lot came well prepared in a mini-bus.. it's a shame our Boffin has moved too far away to give me a lift as I would have liked to sample a few.. I had to go in the Five-Twenny.. sometimes representing a car club has its down-sides!
