Hi guys,
Reckon it must be my turn to set the meet up again, so...

I propose Sunday 9th December, meeting at midday at the edge of the New Forest at Burley Services. Don't know Portsmouth enough to set a run up from there.

Nothing set yet, I will change it if I get enough requests... Different date, or Portsdown instead, let me know before I get the hammer and chisel out and start attacking the stone... :D

OK guys, 9th it is then, hope that's OK Dave (Gaszman).

If it's New Forest, I'll sort a route, if it's Portsdown, no probs, but can someone sort a cruise route? Don't know the area well enough. (Or suggest one to me - in detail - and I'll sort it from there.

Cheers

So Gaszman, O/T are Thin Lizzie worth seeing now Phil Lynott and Gary Moore no longer feature in the lineup?
Gary Moore is bl**dy good live, I must say.

OK guys, New Forest it is then. Do we want a long run or a shorter one than the last New Forest one?
Can do the same as last time, or maybe something different...

Gord do you remember the one that Mark found - the Filly Inn - very near Brockenhurst - we parked on the grass behind the car park at the side of the pub?

OK Richard, I agree that the Filly inn is very nice pub, but only a fairly short drive.
Is everyone happy with a shorter cruise? If so, I'll give them a call and let them know we're coming.

Yeah it is a bit of a short drive

I have an idea - what about the lamb at nomansland - PLENTY of parking and very picturesque

Blast along the A31 till j1 then pretty roads through the forest for about 5 miles

Ok Richard, many thanks for that. I'll go have a look at the route to the Red Shoot and the Alice Lisle.
Nice run through the narrow twisties through the forest if nothing else. Red Shoot may be the choice, it's also nearer the M27 leaving the other way. Will go have a nose this afternoon.
