Right then- been planning this for some time! :D

Idea is to get 10 Cars MAX and do a long weekend driving holiday up to Skye on the West Coast of Scotland. Dates would be between 1st and 3rd weeks in April

Accomodation will either be in Good hotels, or excellent B&B's (some of the places we'll visit are too small for hotels), no camping!

All the driving will be on A,B and unclassified single track roads-no motorway boredom here  Plenty of challenging hills, corners and twisty bits to keep even the most avid of drivers entertained.

As can be seen below-the scenery and views are stunning. Also including a stop in Inverness (fairly large city so the missus can go shopping  )

As for costs- £230 per person (max of 2 per car)- Payment due before departure.

Covers- Accomodation and Ferry costs

A basic route overlay can be seen below, along with an assortment of pictures of the areas being visited.

This is very tempting, but too early for me to commit at this time.

you could have planned a route with some decent scenery... 8O

i'd love to do this but alas, i suspect i won't be able to afford it

not sure it would be too much fun with a sufficient supply of spare diffs in the boot!

Oh, I have the money, its if I still have an E30 at that time that I am worried about, having said that, I have been to Dalgety Bay in my M3 Evo2 and Sport Evo so not frightened of the mileage to Dumfries

Mmm...I'll sleep on it :) Maybe coincide it with a trip to Dastek in Fife too winkeye

All accom will provide Breakfast

evening meals will be at venues chosen by everyone, and dependant on timescales.

Aww :giggle:

We going gareth
i am very very temped dude!
i reckon my car will gobble £350 - 400 in fuel, £230 entering scotland fee, pushing £1k by the time food, overnight stay at both ends of the trip and extra costs (diffs etc!) are catered for.
that said, by then i should have LPG fitted which will help things

And???? Smoked £800 doing eastern europe on petrol, out about £1200 all in, plus a small "illegally entering a country" fine... :D

Sure you could grab a couch at my flat, should you need accom. or you could hero it!

not likely! it's taken me 5 hours to get to milton keynes before!
once clear of london, it should be a lot easier but not 4 hours worth!!!! i'd have to factor 10 fill-ups into that time too! :D
