The Motorist - Sherburn, Yorkshire
Moderator: martauto
I went to a Sunday morning meet at the venue called " The Motorist" at Sherburn airfield, Yorkshire. Only £2 pre booked entry fee to spend a few hours with like minded car enthusiasts at this fairly new motoring complex. The cars that turn up cover most interests from a 60's rear engined mini sprinter to the obligatory Ferrari's and McLarens. Obviously the jewels in the car park were the few E30's that attended. Attached are one or two of my personal favourites on the day and my little old E30 next to a lovely E46 M3. A nice drive out and worth the effort - spotted OGGY - a fellow Zoner coming in as I was leaving.

I'm not connected to this place in any way - it's just good that there are still plenty of enthusiasts out there

Good to see you last Sunday Mart - your E46 is looking excellent ( helped by the expertly painted and fitted boot lip spoiler ! )
This Sunday morning event does seem to be gathering a pace and attracting more and more enthusiasts out. A few E30's and a very tidy E21 showed up - worth a visit.

it looks like it was a great turn out, I did end up having a ride up but by the time I got there, around 2:30pm there wasn't many around so just went to the airfield.
It would be good to go here when you don't have to buy tickets and can rome around and stay as long as you like.

Tickets still had to be bought but there was no pressure to leave or where to go so it was a great feeling to do this at last.damers2000 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 5:14 amIt would be good to go here when you don't have to buy tickets and can rome around and stay as long as you like.
