Right, I want to get the ball rolling on this one as it should be a brilliant weekend (or day if that's all you want to attend) of motorsport and all that.

http://www.doningtonhistoric.com

It's the May bank holiday weekend, running from Friday 3rd May through to Sunday 5th May.
Advance tickets for the 2013 Donington Historic Festival cost £12 each for Friday, £20 each for Saturday or Sunday and £36 for a three-day weekend ticket. But members of car clubs registered with us get two advance tickets for the price of one!
I'd like to get us signed up as a club so that we can have as many of our cars parked up on the infield as possible. Doing this also means we could well have a parade lap of Donington on the Sat or Sun. The parade lap is not a balls out blast around the circuit, it is a very slow drive around.
Signing up as a club is free and entitles us to be able to have 2 for 1 tickets too (this is per car, so one car with a driver and a passenger, or indeed 4 in the car).

To sign up as a club though we'll need some numbers on sign up for a rough guide as to how many of us will be attending (this enables them to know how much space we'd need and how many they'll let on track).
If possible it'd be great to get a zone banner/marque up too, although if these items are long gone (I understand there used to be some for events) then never mind.

More information about being a club can be found here: http://www.doningtonhistoric.com/car-club-info/

I'd like it if someone that is known for arranging big (hopefully this will be) meets took charge but I'm happy to do it if needed.

If I have to arrange the club stuff that's fine, what I will say though is that if people want to do a camping thing with BBQs and all that at a local site, someone else will have to arrange that. I'll be either in a hotel or camping with a bunch of other mates, but will of course attend the Zone stand/area and have my car there (provided we can get this going as a club).

In order to get an idea of numbers, can people please put their names down on the list below. I'm going to give it a week or two to (hopefully) build numbers, interest and that then see about booking as a club. We can book straight away but it'd be better if we do know numbers first.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Next to no interest on this. :(

I'll soon have no internet so can't arrange stuff for this so I'll be booking it normally for myself I think. Shame as it means no parade lap or stand for E30Zone despite everyone saying we need to be at big shows. :(

I went to this, had a great three days with some friends and even got my car infield today and parked it up with MX5Nutz.

Big shame people here showed interest and then decided against it really as it was good fun. I took over 2000 pictures too so have a long few days ahead processing them.

Sad early end to the weekend though as there was a crash at half 4 which resulted in a death. :(

I'll try to arrange this properly next year though as there were loads of clubs with big stands etc. I also saw a couple of E30 M3s around the place too.
