had a idea for the 19th of may? for the 30th year anniversary meet?

bridge of allen always have a classic car show on the 19th of may, i put my car in every year, but as it is on one of the dates for the anniversary meets , i would like to see if there would be any interest in getting a group spot at the show as one of the meet??

please put your name down if you could make this?

and if there is enough people up for this i could look in to what the script is for getting a group spot for the show.

just go a email from the show organizer and the forms are on the way to me, but would be good to get defo numbers and people and sent away so there is no hiccups!

My plan ATM is to drive up Saturday,overnight near the venue Sat/Sun(suggestions for a decent hotel/b@b welcomed)then west to Applecross on Monday,south to Dunoon Tuesday,home on Weds.If any others are interested in this 'mini-roam',drop me a PM!

I'd be there, but my touring is sold, and the cabby is currently being prepped for sale. Full service, detail, pro-photoshoot and she'll be advertised at the end of this month.

just a quick update on the show, the forms have been sent and i should be getting the show passes in the post in the next few weeks

just thought i would let you know some of the rules that were on the forms:

the gates will open a 9am
we must show our passes at the getes to enter (will get the in the next few weeks)
entry pass includes drives and passenger (if you want to bring a friend or the mrs)
show field must be clear by 7pm
there must not be any unnecessary driving in the show field
entrants are requsted to on site by 10am and remain until 4pm
the car show will hold no responsibility for any theft or danage to any vehicles

thats them all there not that bad!

i will keep you all updated about passes and what not!

Finally car has gone into the body shop. Now 6-8 weeks a little added for contingency. If there are any spaces left I am interested.

I've booked two nights at the Carronbridge Hotel,Denny...it came up as the skinflint option...just noticed that it is 'biker friendly',should we be worried?

Then on to a b@b near Applecross,then Abbots Brae Hotel in Dunoon,this last one is well known to me as a frequent 'roamer'!

sorry there has not been any updates on this for a bit, I have been run of my feet with things.

anyways
I have the tickets and would like to know if you would like me to bring them along to give to you at the meet on 5th or 12th??
I was also thinking that on the 19th the day of the show we could all meet b4 hand somewhere and all go up to show as a group I could give tickets then if no other dates??
will all have to be in the area early anyways??

as for the few that are coming from England I could send them in the post or would you be up for meeting as well b4 the show??

please let me know what everyone would like to do?

verde: you could prob bring your 21 if you like but don't know if they will say anything about it at the show as they wanted all the car info b4 hand so completely up to you I think it will be fine???

Posted for me as the first I'll make a meet is this show. Meeting up should be fine for me but its a bit of trek so will depend on what time.

Still have to tackle my MOT by then but the car is almost ready to be booked in.

Rtaylor2208 we would all have to meet at around 9 and be in the show grounds by 10 at the latest for show to start at 11

Chris, I spotted you yesterday at the petrol station at Whins of Milton. Probably best to keep it simple and hand them out at the pre-meet ?

Magpie is going to have to leave about 6.30am !!

Is that in Stirling? There is a car park in the middle of the bridge of alan that might be a good meeting point. I'll need to leave about 7ish to make sure I get there on time.
