Having won a weekend in a new shape 62 Plate basic manual Boxster last weekend 9 days ago I think the E46 M3 is quiet vocally .... Obviously the basic standard sound system is pants but if I changed any of these would make me a 'bruv'
Boxster has a deep roar and defo reverberates likes the E30 325 in tunnels, bridges and turns heads lol
E46 M3 has it very own distinctive sound which the press often describe as a metallic rasp sound .... Wondering if that sound is to do with the inline six configuration or the exhaust system or both. Funny the M3 CSL according to videos sounds so much louder ....

The Coxster was last seen at the rear of a seedy establishment under the arches in Vauxhall, often frequented by chaps in chaps and their 'friends'

All I can say is don't knock it till u have driven it .... The tunnel under Hyde Park sounds superb hearing the reverb
And on Sat morning with seat heating to the max and all the heating on roof down, sports mode on and PASM on round a cold Yorkshire Dales is a great drive. It's talents are wasted in London. However believe me it does turn heads lol
Comes with a BOSE sound system. In Ilford it looks cool to I just had to take it for a night drive there too just before I gave it back. Like they never seen a Asian in a brand new Porsche before lol
