Is anyone from here going this year?

I'll be convoying down on Thursday, camping at Bleu Nord. Would be cool to check out some E30s, but dont really know what to expect as its my first trip.

My boss is going, in his 'toy'. A Jensen SV8, the second one to be built, the oldest on the road.
The first one never made it on to the road.
Apparently.

E30's ?
Doubt you'll find any there or near the track from what I've been told.
There is a 2002 entered to race, just the one though.
Only cars pre 80's are allowed, even in the campsites.
Not sure if this is gospel or if my leg is being pulled, though knowing the French.....

Been a couple of times on a bike for the errr bikes which anything goes. ie no one batts an eye over two guys in the stand naked reving chainsaw engines, or the dutch lot camping next to us who ran a 5L V8 flatout till it went bang (4 odd hrs iirc) Fuzz on bikes just pulling down their visors and sitting there whilst 2 guys were doing burnouts on the main road into the circuit.
No doubt a more sedate weekend for the classic brigade. Let me know if they still burn tyres at the campsites to keep warm. They turn up with lorry loads full, once the pallets run out. That turns into a free for all so make sure you have a big pal next to you as it comes down to who can pull the hardest.
Take plenty of bread, cheeses, hams, pernod, local plonk, packets of resolve (one with caffeine for morning and one pack without for before passing out/sleep).
A second hand padded, waterproof all in one bike suit is bloody handy. I lived in mine for 3 days and just rubbed my face in the morning dew, just like the locals.
Well when in Rome.
