im new to this forum and new to the e30 scene but im not new to competitive motorsport and ive got a few ideas to enable us to enjoy our E30's a bit more.
There are some great events and venues in the north east of england and i intend to have a go at as many as my wallet will allow. It would be great if the north east zoners and any other zoners could join in.
these are just a few of the type of events im planning to do and im extending an open invitation to fellow zoners to come along and compete.

autosolos are organised events for road cars with tax , test and insurance to do timed slalom type runs as you saw in the video. It costs about £20 for the full day and that includes the £5 motorclub day pass. You can get to do as many as 15 runs sometimes more if time allows depending on numbers and other factors. A really good bunch of people who just have fun with there everyday cars. Some modified cars are there but its all divided up into classes so you have a chance of winning your class. The event is properly marshaled and organised by the motor club with all the permissions of the local council granted.
These two types of event along with the York Dragway events that Magpie has organised are great ways for us all here in the north east to get a bit more from our meets and cars. Of course all zoners and freinds of zoners (non E30 owners) are welcome. The more the merrier.
