OK, here we go again trying to get an informal Brighton meet going.

Date: 25/03/2012
Time: 3pm
Place: Madeira Drive at the marina end

Hopefully the weather will be good and Saturday night hangovers will have subsided by 3pm. Doesn't have to be a late one, just an excuse to take your car out for a run. See you there :)

we tried to get this going last month but there was a slow take up on the idea. Trying again this month, it's not about lists or definite numbers. Just putting it out there that if you fancy taking your E30 for a drive there "might" also be some like minded E30 owners who are out and about and there is an end destination to your drive. These things are always weather dependant but if everyone likes the idea and turns up it could become more established :)

Bloody Sport Relief shutting Madeira Drive :x Anyway headed for the marina, saw Tom coming away from there, quick flash of the lights and presto TWO cars ended up at the makeshift venue lol.

Good to meet you Tom, very nice car and love the wheels. I think the stretch on the back looks perfect, I know you talked about going a bit wider but I don't think it needs it.

Shall we try for third time lucky with a Brighton meet ???

We'll have to think of a place outside Brighton as the good weather will make parking in town a nightmare. Nice pics mate, my car actually looks good, you can't see the rust :)

We could get a few down from this end, did a Brighton meet a few years ago and the problem was Maderia is pretty restricted. Not knowing your patch too well, would be good if you could identify a good location/pub/cafe with good photo opportunities and easy parking.

Perhaps plan for May/June to give peeps a chance to get organised ??

Barbeque would be good.

Sounds like a plan, May 6/13/20 or June 24/30, you pick a date and I will help to promote. Perhaps a 1300 meet, barbeque if possible and a mini cruise ???

see.. not just a pretty face... :)

I organise a retro meet down there once a month (on the last thursday) which usually degenerates into a bit of abuse on the big roundabout outside (there's a couple of pro drifters and a three door cossie that always seem to hit a slippery patch on entry) last month a 3rd gen camaro lit them up coming out of the car park.. the landlady came out, impressed, and then told us all that she once put a rover v8 into a capri herself.. ideal! (not the capri bit obviously.. )

yeah they definitely seem a car friendly pub, I know the yank boys used it as a meeting point a couple of years ago for their London to Brighton cruise.
