Ashby Folville Car Meet - Leicester - April 12th

Just wondering if anyone else is gonna be coming along to this?

I'm popping down in the chromie to check it out...

Its the 2nd tuesday of every month and is suppose to be bloody massive with all sorts going along... Classics, boy racers, super cars, bikes etc etc

Not 100% on the time but I'm assuming 6pm or so, thats what time I should be getting there...

I have just been reading up and in the busy summer months they have had upto 4000 turn up...

Should be interesting to see how it goes if anyone else is interested.

Location is Ashby Folville in Leicester, its a villege so you'll find it....

Its the mutts nutts mate!! (weather permitting) went to almost every one last year in my mates hot rod - there's a huge field full of all kinds of motors, the only exit is via a single gate onto an avenue which the crowd line up along as the cars start to leave, encouraging burnouts etc etc, good laugh!

will be taking the sport this year for sure at some point!

Doh, back work tomorrow otherwise i would have gone on the bike!

Managed to go to one last year, it's an excellent meet! I'm a tad gutted I moved away now...

Just got back... Was ace! Loads of cars and bikes of all variety. Absolutely everything was there. Seen an M3 which was very nice, Staley_Turbo was there too but didnt see him, just his tec 1.

No pictures though but well recommended for next month its on.

Yeah, it was ace mate. Enjoyed myself... Took us ages to find it though as I needed to take a detour to the other side of leicester so I have drove round the whole outskirts of leicester today...

Hopefully the weather is good and im there everytime I think.

It was a good one, not too busy and good weather. Who seen the guy crash the bike then??
I seen you drive in jim but didn't see you after that. The hog roast was amazing!

Second tuesday of every month, so the next one is the 10th of april... I start a thread the week before hand to remind anyone, but definately worth going to if your local enough as they're are some beautiful cars there.

I didnt see it happen, but heard the crash. Was he alright? I watched everyone else run to be nosey... As I drove in I spotted your car but didnt realise it was you until I got out and seen the reg, tried to look out for you but didnt see you.

Didnt manage to eat the hog, drank the beer though which was reasonably priced too.

I went and met up with thekingofswing who was with his knuckledragging crew of Notts boys who showed up in an Escort Cosworth. I spotted Jim, and took some photos too. After going to every meet last year and posting up dates and a load of pics on the zone, hardly anyone from here showed up, so its awesome to see a better turnout of zoners this year

The guy who dropped his bike was getting a wee bit posey and tried to pop a wheelie outside the pub, only succeeding in putting some nice scratchmarks in the road surface, and scuffing his Playstation graphics!

I'll definitely be there in May, but will probably ride shotgun with a mate again due to my 325i needing major tlc

I will be going to the next one hopefully, just tried to Tax the car and found it has no MOT, so that's booked in for Tuesday and hopefully get the Tax too

Should be a fair few of us turning up then... Would be nice if we can all get parked up together but we'd need to be there fairly early'ish. Might be worth starting another thread for the next one too.

My own car is off the road at the moment, pending mot repairs or sale

so I'll be getting lifts to Ashby for the forseeable

luckily my mates own some fun stuff, and I get to sink a couple of pints for a change !
