Casual drinks and food for those interested on Saturday 18th followed by the Big Meet on Sunday 19th.

Following on form Last years sucess we'd like to invite our neighbors from here to attend the event, some of the best cars in europe are on the zone and we'd love to have them over for this to make it the biggest e30 meet yet,

We had76 e30's in the one location last year and everybody reported to have had a great time,

this year were doing it over 2 days, bit of Craic and Banter on the saturday and the main event on the sunday, we'll probably have live music and the like on the saturday evening and make it an enjoyable fun event for all,

I know there are a few regular posters from here on our site and they contribute hugely to our members, its greatly appreciated

so Rav if ur reading this check ur inbox i need some wheel advice sharpish

Would be great to get a few zone regulars over to this, depending on the car being finished I'd hope to be able to return the favour and visit a Zone meet!

Small update:

We met in Athlone today to go over some stuff for the meet, tease out some idea's and give bit more focus on what we want and where to go with this. We had a look at the venue we are hoping to get, Feens is chasing this up and was hoping to have something confirmed this week.

We are going to contact some of the ferries in relation to group discounts for you guys to come over and also we are going to try and chase up on accommodation right across from the venue.

I think it would be a good idea for some zoners to travel up for the weeekend if some Accomodation could be sorted for the Sat night.
I've already PM'd Brendan on the situation.
But if some Hardcore Zoners would like to travel over, I could be included too!

There's student accommodation that will most likely be vacant that we are going to try and get for those who want to stay over.

Depending on the work situation this summer it would only be fair to return the favour and attend a zone meet/show

Ive Just secured the Grounds of Athlone Institute of Technology for this and theres ample parking for us all here,

The Accommodation were trying to get a Deal on is right across the road too, Will update this Thread with

Just to update on the accommodation in the Student block opposite the venue (bottom of above image).

Their all 2 bedroom apartments with a double and single bed in them.

Will have to confirm with prices and how to book a room for those interested.

A discount for the ferry is being worked on as well for you guys, will update when I know more on this.

Type: 2 Bedroom Apartments

Price;

Twin room (2 single beds) @ 25euros each.
Single bed in room on its own @ 30euro.
One person in one room and one in other room @60euro.

So 3 guys can stay in one apartment @ 80euro unless they want a room to themselves which would mean 2 per apartment @60.

If anyone is thinking "oh lets just pay for 2 and we will stick in 3 people" Just remember the guy in charge lives on site.

Secure parking is available on site.
