Lovely country pub, some decent roads for a blat and its not far from M6 Jct 27. Girls behind the bar are fit as well, last time I visited. cheers
Car park is ample for about 20 spaces, so if we get there about 7pm for a pint, unless you have any other suggested times, evening parking is generally quiet and should be plenty of room. And it will be twilight, so we should see our cars in a different light Cool
FROM M6 JUNCTION 27. AT ROUNDABOUT TAKE THE EXIT ONTO A5209 (SIGNPOSTED PARBOLD). CONTINUE FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.5 MILES PASSING WRIGHTINGTON HOSPITAL ON YOUR LEFT. TURN RIGHT ONTO ROBIN HOOD LANE AND CONTINUE FOR APPROXIMATELY HALF A MILE. TURN LEFT ONTO HIGH MOOR LANE AND YOU WILL FIND US ABOUT A MILE DOWN ON THE LEFT.
For mapped directions, just google the pub and click the Link for the Map. But its dead easy to get there.
Tony is going to try and route a nice drive as well if you like, nothing silly, just a "drive and follow" with no overtaking or antics, for a few miles. Then we can stop at the Dicconson Arms nearby for a final goodbye (loads of room and a very quiet pub),barmaids even fitter and there's a pool table Surprised ...and as this is nearer to the M6 Jcn 27 for ease of travel.
