UPDATED WITH ROUTE INFORMATION AND POSTCODES!

Just got back from the route. Click HERE to see it!.

We will meet in the car park of the Comet at Teesside Park (postcode below). The route is roughly 62 miles. It took me an hour and 20 minutes to do the full thing, without stopping. The destinations are (now with added postcodes!):

Comet Stores, Stockton: TS17 7BG
Market Place, Helmsley: YO62 5BH (If you sat nav directly to here, it will probably try and take you down the A19. We're heading towards Stokesley and Chop Gate)
Moor Lane, Hutton le Hole: YO62 6UA
The Lion Inn: YO62 7LQ
Woodhouse Services: TS14 6RX (This is the last free car park before we get back into Middlesbrough, and good opportunity to take stock and figure out the way home)

Here is where we are eating: http://www.lionblakey.co.uk/, or, if it's too busy, there's a Subway at Woodhouse Services. Nom nom.

There are 2 places I would like to gather while on the route, so we can get some pics and stuff, but they're not worth going into until we're actually on the way there.

=========================================

A YouTube video of the B1257 taken from my old E34

Some photos I've taken while carspotting in Helmsley. If the more camera-geeky of us get to Helmsley first, we can grab photos of everyone coming through :D

TBH, most of July and August are no good for me.
Already committed July 4th
Away on holiday 11th and 18th
AFAIK 25th is OK
August I'm on nightshifts until 15th, then we're away again the week before the bank holiday.

As Mick will confirm, it's hard to tie me down!

Going by Alex's response, I guess it's down south.
I can't be ar53d to drive beyond Thirsk to spend the day wandering aimlessly through a field full of cars, eating over-priced burgers and drinking warm cold drinks.
Sorry, but I'll pass.

I mentioned the July 11th run to Wor Lass yesterday. She said "Shame we are away, I'd have liked to come on that one."! Sometimes she'll tag-along on a run, but I've never known her to be enthusiastic about it.
That route is definitely a good choice. :D

Pah like that matters! All the more reason to go out on a hoon; less people on the roads

There's definitely no major motorsport on that weekend, I think.

Right chaps, brief update.

At least the weather stayed good for us  Looks like it might drizzle on Sunday, but that's what wipers are for, eh?

I'm going to do a recce tomorrow morning and check the route (half days at work this week!), then I'll pick a meeting place for us. I've got a couple of ideas for where we can stop and gather for photos, so I'll map them up for everyone. Out of interest, will people be navigating via maps, Sat Nav or luck? winkeye
