I think this would be a good meet, and plenty of food on offer.

Am I missing the point? I cant seem to figure out where it says the meet would be...? Somewhere in Oxfordshire near a barn? lol
I'm up for anywhere as long as I got the fuel :S lol
@ Indy - Paprika is a freat car park but it isnt really easy for people to get to from the motor ways... You got to think main junctions, so that would be junction 21... Links the north and south from m1 as well as b'ham/cov etc from the m69.
If Leicester was on the cards, we would be able to find a much better venue, there is the holiday inn on Narborough road which has a great car park and is the easiest place to find.
Do a google search for it LE3 2FD”Ž , car park goes round the side which is never in use, i'm sure they would be cool with us using it. I could have a word.
If not there, there is Meridian Leisure Park”Ž - LE19 1JZ”Ž - again, right next to the motorway, easy to get to and HUUUGE, no problems for spaces, check them out on google maps...
Date wise, if we arrange it soon, we still need to give everyone 5-6 weeks to get things done to there cars... And to build up a list of people coming!
What you think?

The Oxford barn meet looks a good bet, although can you really call it a Mids meet down there?

Still a good meeting place though, get to look at some moth balled cars, scoff a load of food, meet some people from other forums (E21s
) and no doubt better photo oppurtunities than a pub car park

Dave, it is a better place for a meet, plus a BBQ, and a nice Pub acoss the road if you want a backdrop on some pics.

Isnt it down Melton Road way? Too far from the motor way I think, but think we are heading out of the midlands.

Yeah, I agree with Indy, seems a bit far out for the 'midlands meet', Doesnt mean I wouldnt come to that but I think we need to stick to midlands and try and round everyone up again with PM's... Who ever you know from the last meet, message them and ask them to come to the next one. Once its a bit more confirmed?

Granted guys, this is "just" outside the midlands.
I'll go through my PM's tonight and put the suggestions i've had into a vote again, but will leave dates to guys on here.
But this one is a good meet.

As long as its within an hour or so's travelling i'll be there.
Don't mind what location, as the E30's are the main thing.

Toby Carvery seemed fine, plus it provided entertainment with cars smashing into one another.

A Midlands meet does not have to be in the Midlands really all you need is alot of people from the Midlands if you get what i meenRav335uk wrote:Granted guys, this is "just" outside the midlands.

Wouldn't that make it a Midlanders meet rather than a Midlands meet?town325i wrote:A Midlands meet does not have to be in the Midlands really all you need is alot of people from the Midlands if you get what i meenRav335uk wrote:Granted guys, this is "just" outside the midlands.
