Central Scotland Meet - April 2010

Given the success of the meets at Cartech in Drem over the winter months, it's time to start with the outdoor meets.

The next meet will be in mid April at the Falkirk Wheel. For anyone who hasn't been at one yet it's a simple format, bring along yourself and your car (doesn't have to be an E30) and spend a few hours talking sh*t, seeking advice/giving advice and kicking the odd tyre then it's off for a run to exercise the right foot

Central Scotland meets are organised by GrantFK10 and myself. If you have any queries or suggestions, please feel free to drop us a PM. We hope to have a meet like this each month from April to September in 2010.

There are two dates suggested, Sunday 11th and Sunday 18th April.

i'm thinking of sorning mine from the end of march for 1 mth till may 1st.

but still may attend if plans change.the road out of England is a good one apart from the sheep,they have no road sense.

my clan has it's own Kilt,don't panic i wear jeans in public.

Hi Ronan, it will be the E30. Just had bad news with the Evo - needs a new pump in the SMG now and vanos unit later. Dealer wants £4K just for parts but the car's not worth much more. Haven't fully decided what to do , but i'm sure it's going to be sold as a non-runner

You have impeccable taste Andy, the 325 cab & sport combo is the route I've taken. I've been buying some tasty morsels for the Sport recently, it's going to be nice when finished

My estimate is the summer

ive a basket case lying needs alot of parts o and a engine lol.

my cabby will be 2011 at a mega cost i recon.

sport will come off road 2011 get a full rebuild even if it on needs minor work

Bad news indeed. No chance of finding the parts cheaper elsewhere I suppose.

I read a how to replace the seal for the vanos recently on here some where. I'll see if i can find it.

I met a guy yesterday with an E36 M3 engine in bits in his shed, it had been in an E30 tourer. He's an ex-Zoner so you may have luck with him if you need parts. PM me for details.
