Hopefully everyone has had a great Christmas, and will have a great New Year too.

Who fancies starting the year the way we mean to go on with a meet?

Sunday 3rd Jan, meeting at 12.00 midday.

At the Sir Walter Tyrell pub near Lyndhurst.

I did suggest midday Andy... this is our usual time, so hopefully alright with everyone. Won't want a late one myself, as back to work  on Monday :(
Dave, don't actually know the Sir Walter Tyrell, but location looks great. Good suggestion. Thanks. :D
Unless of course the rabble want a New Year burger at Micks (Portsdown)...

Midday is fine with me, Don't remind me I'm back at work Monday, I've had a week of boozing & laziness, going to find it a struggle to get up when the alarm goes off.

The Sir Walter Tyrrell is situated in the heart of the New Forest just off the A31 which is the main Southampton to Bournemouth road.

If you are visiting Rufus Stone the Sir Walter Tyrrell is about 200 yards north and easily reached whether you are coming by car or on foot. Simply follow the lane shown by the sign in the Rufus Stone Car Park.

In the summer months please be aware that your security is important so please do not leave valuables on show when leaving your car for any length of time. Please also follow the speed limit of 40mph in the New Forest as the animals are free to roam and graze as they wish. If you have young children do bear in mind that these are wild animals that often do not care to be approached directly or stroked or petted.
